Crafted with a wonderful attention to form, the wood features carved grooving that accentuates the duck's natural contours and wing layers. The painted finish has been softly aged, giving it a warm, mellow patina that highlights the organic wood grain beneath. Adding a wonderful layer of provenance, the stained base features a handwritten French studio label dating the piece to May 2007 ("Mai 2007") and signed by the creators, Évelyne et Roland.
