Bring a touch of rustic, French country charm to your space with this beautiful antique faisselle (traditional French cheese strainer mould). Design & Craftsmanship
Standing at 13 cm tall, this substantial earthenware vessel features a stunning, glossy cream-coloured slip glaze over a baluster shape. Unlike standard flat or raw terracotta strainers, this premium domestic piece showcases intricate, high-relief moulded scrollwork and decorative fleur-de-lis flourishes. Perforations are hand-pierced into the base, originally designed to slowly drain the liquid whey from fresh curds.
