CONDITION;
Overall: Exceptional vintage condition for its age. The core structure remains completely sound and round, with no flattening or structural splitting.
Map Face: The cartouche emblem and continental names remain vibrant, clean, and beautifully legible.
Wear: Shows minor, authentic vintage friction wear at the lower base of the sphere where the paper map edge meets the metal meridian arm during rotation. The paper has shifted slightly here from normal decades of use, but it is entirely stable and does not impact display or free rotation, see photo with tape measure of rubbing and paper loss overall yellowing minor scuffs from use.
