German Victorian Papier Mâché Easter Egg
This is a charming pair of rare Victorian German papier-mâché Easter eggs, each with its own unique and delicate design.
The first egg features a beautiful floral pattern on the exterior, though some areas of the gold trim are incomplete. Inside, the egg is lined with a striking blue floral print, accented with a paper doily edging, though some sections are missing.
The second egg is slightly smaller and red in colour and adorned with a gold band at the division point. Its interior showcases an elegant gold floral lining, also accompanied by a delicate paper doily trim, though not entirely intact.
Adding to the charm, this set includes an adorable Victorian yellow chick with an orange beak and feet—a truly delightful Easter treasure.
